When we decided to build, we interviewed several builders. After we met with John and Linda Askew, we were convinced that they would be our builder of choice. In the preliminary meetings with Mr. and Mrs. Askew, we felt that they were true Christians with integrity that outshined all the rest. They were able to offer us so much more than other builders were for a price that was within our budget. Along the building process, we were taken back with the organization, thoroughness, hand-on involvement, and personal attention from the entire Askew office.

As we toured the Askew Model Home, there were several attractions convinced us that we wanted to build with them. We were awestruck by the level of design and quality in their home. Their quality, attention to exquisite detail and flawless craftsmanship were a few things that caught our eye. It was evident that no corners were cut after touring their model and that they build a “sound” home of quality and perfection.

During our building process, there was considerable attention to detail given and both Vince Pascuzzi and Linda Askew offered suggestions along the way. We were very impressed with the organization, knowledge, and personal attention Vince gave us. He worked with us to maximize our dollars without compromising the overall look. Vince did a fantastic job listening and responding to our needs and in the end we got the home of our dreams. We look forward to a continued relationship, personally and professionally, over the years to come!

The John Askew Company has chosen excellent subcontractors to work with who are very professional and share their integrity. They continue to be very helpful as we live in our home and they have addressed all of our questions and concerns-satisfaction guaranteed! We cannot say enough about the coaching we received from Linda Askew. Linda was there every step of the way and took whatever time was needed to make sure we were getting what we wanted. We feel like we made a few friends along the way and also know we can call on any of the contractors and designers if we are in need of anything.

We absolutely love our new home and because of the pride that the Askew Company takes in doing quality work, we would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a builder.

This evening, Jane and I are truly enjoying our new home and we feel settled in and at home, now that the last of our boxes are unpacked and pictures are all hung. Last spring when we began talking with you about building another home for us, to fit our needs at this time in our lives, we were not sure we could really afford to have such a gorgeous new home, but here we are, moved in, and oh so thankful!

From the planning process to the foundation and framing, on through to the selections and finish out, it was all such a pleasurable process. We were particularly fortunate to get to work with Vince. He cares so profoundly to do the right thing and to make sure that we were satisfied at every turn. It was a joy to work with him and we appreciate that he was so attentive and helpful with his expertise. His ideas along the way helped us to make our home a reflection of our desires and we are very proud and thankful of our new home. Vince took great care of us and you should be very proud of how hard he works to make satisfied customers.

Linda and Jennifer were also very helpful to us in our design selections that make our home look so warm and elegant. We truly love all our lighting, appliances, paint colors, cabinets, tile, granite and flooring. When we thought we had made an error with one of our cabinet choices, you showed us how to make a simple change that made them look like gorgeous pieces of fine furniture that we admire daily. Your insight and experience was invaluable to us and they will always be more special as we recall the experience with Linda that helped to make them what they are.

Thank you for all you and your team did to make our dream home come true. We hope to be enjoying our new home for many years to come as we enjoy it and share it with our family and friends. I wanted to tell you personally how impressed I have been working with you, Jennifer, Linda and Steve. You and your family and Steve are the most honest people that I know of in the construction industry. Thank you so much for everything.

Coming from a construction background, I feel as thought I have a fair amount of knowledge of the construction business. I checked out the recommendations of four different builders in the Aledo/Fort Worth area and John Askew’s name was at the top of the list. I spoke with previous client and I was impressed with what they had to say about the quality of your work and especially that you had someone devoted to call-backs. They all also said how honest you are.

Your daughter Jennifer has a great knowledge of all construction costs and Linda did a perfect job of the coordinating of all flooring, granite, plumbing, hardware and lighting fixtures, working with me to reach a price per square foot that I was hoping to achieve.

I know you have several Project Managers and you chose the perfect one for me, though I hear they all are very good. Steve Spurlock answered any questions that I had and took the time to explain things and completed my home as scheduled. The world would be a better place if all workers were like Steve.

My home is beautiful and the quality is outstanding, especially the brickwork, framing, finish carpentry-with the extra detail trim, and the kitchen granite. I will gladly show my home to anyone who wants to check out John Askew’s work.
